PROJECT OVERVIEW

“IT’S NOT A REAL GHOST!”

Helmed by Mets chief marketing officer Andy Goldberg, the “Amazin’ Call Center” Super Bowl spot was conceived by FCB New York and produced by Media2 in conjunction with the New York Mets in-house production team, and media support from Giant Spoon.

The campaign launched with a :30 teaser titled “Something Amazin’ Awaits,” shot on location by Mets director Jake Smith and Media2 DP Chris Kostianis late one evening in the Mets’ ticket sales office at Citi Field. Another fun fact: Citi Field is geographically proximate to downtown Flushing where the live fish were procured.

The main Super Bowl ad was shot the following week at the Mets’ spring training facility in Florida – which geographically also was near fish, but this time, the main stars were Brandon Nimmo, Francisco Lindor, Kodai Senga, Tomás Nido, and Edwin Diaz.
